There is so much to learn about pottery and while I have been creating for a number of years now, I still very much consider myself an amateur potter. Through mentorship and friendship from local potters, I have been able to develop and broaden my skills to the level you see today. Each of my stoneware pieces are hand thrown on the wheel in my little shed as I overlook the picturesque farmland of Boisdale, situated in rural Gippsland.
Each creation is unique and embraces the differences in every piece. The future of my work sees a focus on experimenting and using locally sourced materials such as Glenmaggie clay, ash from my own fireplace to use in glazes, shells from Seaspray to produce patterns and imprints, and wood firing from locally sourced timber
