The 3x3 Basketball Court is a Community Project sponsored and operated by the Golden Paradise Beach Ratepayers & Residents Association Inc, and is part of the Golden Paradise Beach Community Tourist Park.
The Association maintains the local 3x3 Basketball court situated in the CTP, behind the Mens Shed. It is free to use, but we ask people to keep the court clean and help us maintain the area.
The next stage of development for the area is to build court-side seating for players and spectators. Extensive landscaping is needed to complete the project and any funds raised will be used for this purpose.
The Association through the annual EoSSF raised $1680 through raffle ticket sales in 2021 and $2080 this year to put towards the planned works. We have also been awarded a $5000 Community Assistance Grant from WSC in the March funding round to assist with these improvements.
