Welcome to the Golden Beach Community RV & Caravan Stay Area
The RV & Caravan Stay Area is a Community Project sponsored and operated by the Golden Paradise Beach Ratepayers & Residents Association Inc and is part of the Golden Paradise Beach Community Tourist Park.
Access to the site is available 24 a day, 7 days per week with office hours being between 10 am and 2 pm Monday through Saturday. We can be contacted on 03 5146 3447 and if the phone is unattended please leave a message for us and we will call you back.
14 sites are available and no bookings are required. Self contained RV's and caravans may use this facility. Wellington Shire bylaws prohibit the use of tents, cars, unequipped vans and station wagons in the RV Rest Stop Area.
Visitors can stay for up to 7 nights. Dog friendly accomodation.
To help our volunteer group continue to develop the Community Tourist Park and maintain services, we ask you to consider assisting us with a donation. Please see the "White Wall" at the Plant Nursery for more information. This donation is completely voluntary and is not a condition of staying at the RV Rest Stop Area.
There is no reticulated water available in town. Water is available to purchase by credit card at the Community Plant Nursery.
There are public toilets available in the foreshore carpark at the rear of the Community Hall, on the corner of Shoreline Drive and Surf Edge Drive. Faults or problems should be reported to the Wellington Shire Council on 1300 366 244.
There are foreshore campgrounds at Paradise Beach, to the east of the town centre, and to the west of the town centre, heading to Seaspray. These facilities are managed by Parks Victoria.
The nearest doctor, hospital and Emergency Department is located at Sale Hospital, which is 38 km from Golden Beach and will take about 30 minutes to drive.
